Handre is the founder and principal financial planner of Altum Independent Financial Advice, a Canberra-based independent financial advice practice helping clients make informed decisions across superannuation, retirement planning, investment strategy, personal insurance, cash flow and estate planning considerations.
Handre has more than a decade of experience in financial planning, with a background across large superannuation funds and boutique financial planning firms.
He has particular technical expertise in retirement planning, superannuation, defined benefit schemes and investment strategy, including extensive experience with Commonwealth defined benefit schemes such as PSS, CSS, MSBS and DFRDB.
Handré holds a Master of Applied Finance and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. He is registered on the ASIC Financial Adviser Register and is a member of the Profession of Independent Financial Advisers (PIFA) and the Certified Independent Financial Advisers Association of Australia (CIFAA), organisations that support and promote independent financial advice in Australia. He is also a member of the Financial Advice Association Australia (FAAA) and the Australian Association of Collaborative Professionals (AACP).
